SERVICES FOR HOLY WEEK AND EASTER

Our wonderful Holy Week services begin on Palm Sunday - 25th March - with a 'said' Eucharist at 8am or if you prefer there is a Family Eucharist with Procession at 9.45am.  This is actually followed by our Annual General Meeting which anyone is welcome to attend.

Holy Week then continues with a Eucharist each evening at 7.30pm and we also have our usual Wednesday morning Eucharist at 9.30am followed by coffee.

On Maundy Thursday - 29th March - there is an 11am service at St Nicholas Cathedral in Newcastle and also a very special quiet service at 7.30pm.  This service is always a very special evening which is a Thanksgiving for Holy Communion, Washing of Feet and Stripping of the Altars.

On Good Friday - 30th March - there is a 10am Liturgy of the Day service and a 2pm Children's Workshop and Worship.  This would be a lovely day to take your children or grandchildren to church to give them a taste of what Easter really means.

Holy Saturday - 31st March - also has a 7.30pm service which is a Vigil and Mass of the Resurrection.

On Easter Sunday - 1st April - we come together to celebrate the rising of Christ and share this joyous occasion.  A 'said' Eucharist is at 8am or our usual Family Eucharist at 10am followed by coffee in the hall.

YOU ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO JOIN US AT ANY OR ALL OF THESE SERVICES AND YOU WILL BE MADE VERY WELCOME!  EASTER IS A WONDERFUL TIME IN THE CHRISTIAN CALENDAR AND WE WOULD LOVE YOU TO VISIT US.
